Saying Bye!!!!

I couldn't find another way I liked to say bye to all my students. This WORDLE application is great!!!

I hope you all enjoy at least half of the words in the picture and keep in touch with me through this blog as next course I won't be with you as I promised. I'll be quite close but doing another type of work.

No encontraba ninguna otra manera que me gustara de despedirme de mis alumnos y esta aplicación WORDLE es ¡genial!

Espero que disfrutéis de al menos la mitad de las palabras del dibujo y que mantengáis el contacto conmigo a través del blog ya que el próximo curso no estaré con vosotros como os prometí. Estaré bastante cerca pero desarrollando otro tipo de trabajo.

The Big Challenge in Calanda

The Big Challenge is a national contest where our students have to show how much English they know. Ours did it on the 6th of May and the results were quite good.

I'd like to congratulate all of them for their interest and effort and, especially:

Eva LLorca (1st ESO; 29th in Aragon), Laura Medina (2nd ESO; 7th in Aragon and 77th in Spain), Ana Conesa (2nd ESO; 8th in Aragon and 86th in Spain) and Alicia Conesa (4th ESO and 4th in Aragon).

We'll try to beat it next year!!!

The Big Challenge es un concurso nacional en el que los alumnos deben demostrar cuánto inglés saben. Los nuestros lo demostraron el pasado 6 de Mayo y los resultados fueron bastante buenos.

Quiero daros la enhorabuena a todos por vuestro interés y esfuerzo y, en especial a:

Students' common errors

Although the course is almost done, I think it could be useful to set this task at this time of the year. Click on the link and watch the video. You'll hear some people talking about students' common errors. Try first to understand without reading the text and then, in case you need it, you may read it as well. Once you've heard it, answer the questions on the right and write them down. We'll correct them in class on Thursday!

Aunque ya estamos a finales de curso, creo que puede estar bien hacer esta actividad ahora. Dale al enlace y mira el video. Escucharás a algunas personas hablando sobre errores típicos de los alumnos. Intenta primero entenderlo sin leer el texto y luego, si lo necesitas, puedes leerlo. Cuando ya lo hayas escuchado, contesta las preguntas que aparecen a la derecha y anota las respuestas. ¡Lo corregiremos el JUEVES en clase!
